Agoura Hills’ residents Pamela and Bruce Endo, and their children, Amy and A.J., once again participated in Donate Life’s 11th annual Rose Parade float.
On Dec. 21, the Endo family decorated a “floragraph,” or memorial float portrait, of their child Andrew, who became a tissue donor at the age of three months when he died of SIDS.
“Andrew was a miracle baby born prematurely after a difficult pregnancy,” Pamela Endo said. “He quickly grew into a happy baby. Not long after Easter, his first and only holiday, we received a call summoning us to the hospital. Andrew had stopped breathing during a nap and couldn’t be revived.”
