Well before the Donate Life float hits the concrete for the Rose Parade, it will have been a spectacle to the people putting it all together.
Donate Life, a national alliance of organizations dedicated to educating the public about organ, tissue and eye donation, will be in the parade for the 11th year this New Year’s Day. Volunteers and participants have spent most of December gluing dry goods onto the float’s surface, but for them, the tedious task celebrates life.
