
PALM COAST — A floragraph — a portrait made entirely out of floral materials — is en route to Pasadena, Calif., after a stop at Florida Hospital Flagler for its finishing touches before it is featured in the 2014 Parade of Roses.
The floragraph, made entirely out of seeds, was of Jonathan Peter, a Palm Coast resident who passed away in January 2013. His wife Lyn finished the portrait and added the seeds for his eyebrows at Florida Hospital Flagler.
Jonathan will be one of 81 organ donors in the country honored by Donate Life, a national organization that advocates for organ donation. His floragraph will be featured on the Donate Life float.
After losing his fight with lung cancer, his wife Lyn fulfilled Jonathan’s wish to become an organ donor; one of his corneas was transplanted.
