DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day will honor the memory of a Grant County, Wisconsin teen killed two years ago.
Evan Hauk,13, was accidentally electrocuted in the backyard of his family's Cassville home in July 2011. Sheriff reports say he was using a 110-volt electric prod to gather earthworms for a fishing trip.
Now the Hauk family says organ donation helps Evan's memory live on.
Two dimensional photos, don't seem like enough to remember the many dimensions of Evan Hauk's life.
Evan's mom, Jessica Hauk said, "he had these bright blue eyes that just lit up. "
The 13 year old loved football, skiing and fishing.
