BASKETBALL players have been promoting an organ transplant charity following a table official receiving a new heart.
Plymouth Raiders players were promoting the 'iLiveiGive' charity following the heart transplant of sixteen-year-old Joe Peard, from St Judes.
The players were throwing their weight behind the charity on the day Joe was awarded the England Basketball Table Official Of the Year Award.
He was presented with the award just before a game.
Joe has been an England Basketball table official for the Raiders on numerous occasions and also for Plymouth Marjon Basketball in the national league.
