Cian Pace, from the Shirecliffe area of the city, was a passenger in a silver Vauxhall Corsa which crashed on the A61 Netherthorpe Road, near to Brook Hill roundabout.

Online tributes have been flooding in for the “wonderful” and “brave” teenager after it emerged that his organs had been donated for use in transplants after his death.
A message left on the Facebook page set up in his memory said: “Thanks to Cian’s amazing wish to donate his organs he has saved multiple lives, no-one can imagine how proud our family is of this man! Love you so much x.”
