November 14, CEO Jim Valenti will handwrite a dedication on a rose vial to be placed on the Donate Life float that will be featured in the 2014 Rose Parade, surrounded by families of organ and tissue donors as they gather to rededicate the hospital’s Wall of Heroes.
At 9:30am in the ICU Waiting Room, UMC will also rededicate its Wall of Heroes, the nation’s first, which has since spread across the country. Five new photos of local heroes who saved lives through organ donation will be added to the wall, with the families of those heroes in attendance.
