An East Stroudsburg woman whose son's death gave several strangers the chance for life rallied behind the cause of organ donation on Tuesday in Harrisburg.
On Nov. 2, 2010, Lin and Ronald Moyer's 20-year-old son Ethan died in a car crash and the family had a choice to make. In support of the Donate Life Pa. Act, Lin told the story Tuesday at the state capital of their choice to donate his organs.
The bill, which among other provisions would promote the education of medical, high school and college students about organ donation, was reported out of the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday and moves to the full state Senate.
